DEPLOYABLE STRUCTURE

Many commercial, industrial and educational activities including social gatherings require a temporary occupation of outdoor space providing shelter and comfort. Whilst these gatherings are varied in spirit and atmosphere, many of the basic structures, which are rented, remain utilitarian and are unsafe to erect or dismantle.

Proprietary systems, which are imported, are expensive and so there is a demand for affordable systems which are better suited to tropical climate and coastal conditions.

Aesthetically, the system that is sought needs to integrate structural material, acoustics, lighting, ventilation and shelter in a visually coherent ensemble. Transportation assembly operation and disassembly are key considerations in relation to energy sources.
