“Our challenge is to exist minimally in settlements that renew ecologies instead of depleting natural reserves. We should seek out solutions and systems to empower communities, to operate nimbly and adapt to change. If we think of communities and not countries, then these should not be locked into the politics of large scale entities which cannot be maintained in sustainable ways.”
